Digital Twins of the Ocean (DTOs) generate enormous amounts of earth system data, supplemented by information from scientific literature, economic metrics, regional policies, and cultural factors.
Extracting useful insights from this complex data currently requires expert-driven, multidisciplinary analysis, making it challenging for policy-making.
To address this, EcoTwin will develop new AI-based models that help stakeholders easily access and understand DTO data. These models will use advanced AI techniques to provide a natural language interface, making the data accessible to diverse users.
By refining and extending pre-trained AI models, EcoTwin will integrate various types of data to create powerful tools that are usable and generalisable. This approach aims to simplify the process of handling large volumes of data, making it easier for non-experts to generate valuable insights and inform policy decisions.
