Democritus University of Thrace

DUTH was founded in 1974 and is based in Northern Greece. The Department of Environmental Engineering in DUTH started operating in 1996, providing academic training on environmental issues and engineering solutions related to the atmosphere, aquatic systems, soils and biosphere.

They bring expertise in Ecological modelling, Coastal Oceanography, Ocean Monitoring, Fisheries Modelling, Data management. They will lead WP4 on Data management and integration with DTO, provide input on mechanistic ecological modelling in WP2 and lead the investigation of Use Case 3 (WP5).
